Coca-Cola: quarterly results above consensus
(CercleFinance.com) - This Wednesday, Coca-Cola publishes adjusted EPS (non-GAAP) of 61 cents for the second quarter of 2018, coming out at one cent more than consensus, as well as an increase of more than 300 basis points of the adjusted operating margin in comparable data.
The American group otherwise indicates that its turnover has seen organic growth of +5%. Sales volumes have on their part increased by 2%, in particular bolstered by the good performance of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and the Fuze Tea products.
Global revenue is declining 8% (8.9 billion dollars), mainly down to business transferred to franchisees.
