Coca-Cola: Canadian bottling system to be refranchised
(CercleFinance.com) - Businessmen Larry Tanenbaum and Junior Bridgeman have signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire Coca-Cola's Canadian bottling and distribution business, the company said on Friday.
The acquirer of Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada (CCRC) will be a Canadian-based joint venture between Tanenbaum, a Canadian businessman, and Bridgeman, a former NBA player.
Coca-Cola said the deal completes the refranchising of all of its bottling operations in North America.
The completion of the refranchising process in the United States had already been finalized in 2017.
