Coca-Cola: Diet Coke gets new packaging and flavors
(CercleFinance.com) - Coca-Cola unveiled a new look and four new flavors for Diet Coke, aiming to "re-energize" and "modernize" America's top selling zero-calorie beverage.
After testing over 30 new recipes, the soda giant is set to launch Diet Coke Ginger Lime, Diet Coke Feisty Cherry, Diet Coke Zesty Blood Orange and Diet Coke Twisted Mango, in addition to the original beverage that was first launched in 1982.
Coca-Cola has said that it wants to expand its reach amongst millennials, following two years of focus on group interviews, industry research and more.
The brand's new design and flavors will first be available in the United States, shortly followed by Canada in February.
The new visual identity and packaging will be accompanied by an advertising campaign that will be launched later this month.
