Chevron: towards departure of CEO?
(CercleFinance.com) - Chevron CEO John Watson is preparing to step down as head of the oil giant, according to the Wall Street Journal, quoting related sources.
It therefore seems that Chevron's board of directors is now looking for a new CEO, so as to enable him to adapt to a changing oil sector.
The WSJ says that the transition at the top of the American oil giant could be announced next month, although the name of Mr. Watson's successor has not yet been decided on by the board.
