Caterpillar: Q4 EPS well below expectations

The construction equipment giant saw its revenues increase by 11% to over 14.3 billion dollars, bringing the cumulative total over the last twelve months to 54.7 billion dollars, up 20% from the previous year.
With adjusted EPS of 11.22 dollars, against a target range of 11 dollars to 12 dollars three months ago, Caterpillar now expects between 11.75 dollars and 12.75 dollars for FY 2019.
