Caterpillar: makes several executive appointments
(CercleFinance.com) - Caterpillar said on Friday that it has made three executive appointments after Rob Charter decided to retire earlier this week.
The world's largest producer of mining equipment said it had named 25-year veteran Bob De Lange, who is currently construction industries group president, to oversee customer and dealer support, replacing Charter.
Tom Pellette, the current energy and transportation group president, will now lead construction industries, replacing De Lange.
Finally, Caterpillar's board of directors has appointed Ramin Younessi to lead the energy and transportation unit, replacing Pellette.
All these appointments will be effective on 1 June.
