Campbell Soup: Q4 EPS above estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - Campbell Soup has reported Q4 2019-20 adjusted EPS that is up 50% at 63 cents, two cents above the consensus, for sales that are up 18% at 2.
11 billion dollars (+12% in organic terms).

Over the past year, the agri-food group therefore achieved adjusted EPS of 2.95 dollars, with sales growth of 7%, exceeding its target ranges, provided three months ago, of 2.87-2.92 dollars and 5.5%-6.5% respectively.

However, given the uncertainties around the pandemic, it is only providing forecasts for Q1 2020-21, which include adjusted EPS of 88-92 cents, along with sales growth of 5%-7%.
