CBS: multi-year carriage agreement with Dish.
(CercleFinance.com) - Dish, the US satellite TV provider said on Friday that it has reached a multi-year carriage agreement with CBS Corporation for local stations, which it owns and operates itself, as well as major channels, such as CBS Sports Network.
"The channels are currently being restored to Dish customers," the company said in a statement published today.
CBS said earlier this week that it could not agree on terms to strike a "fair deal" with Dish.
Due to the blackout, Dish subscribers had been be deprived of CBS Sports' football games over the Thanksgiving weekend.
