Broadcom: takes over CA Technologies
(CercleFinance.com) - Broadcom announced on Wednesday evening that it has reached a final agreement for the acquisition of software publisher CA Technologies, through a cash purchase, with a total equity value of 18.
9 billion dollars.
The buyer will offer 44.50 dollars per CA Technologies share, representing a premium of approximately 20% over the share's last closing price. Subject to the usual conditions, the transaction is expected to be finalised in Q4 2018.
Broadcom believes that this acquisition, which will result in a world leader in infrastructure technology, will bring its long-term adjusted EBITDA margin to over 55% and will have an immediately positive impact on its non-GAAP EPS.
