Boeing: WestJet orders forty-two 737-10s
(CercleFinance.com) - WestJet has signed an order for forty-two 737-10s and options for 22 additional jets.
The 737-10 will enable the Canadian carrier to undertake an ambitious network expansion and achieve its long-term sustainability goals.
Including the 737-10, the Calgary-based carrier has more than 60 firm orders for the 737 MAX family.
This will further our low-cost positioning, WestJet Group CEO said; in addition, with its reduced fuel consumption and emissions, the 737-10 will further improve the environmental footprint of its fleet.
