Boeing: develops a satellite for US Space Force
(CercleFinance.com) - As part of the Evolved Strategic Satcam (ESS) program, Boeing will be responsible for building a satellite prototype and developing a new secure satellite communications architecture for the US Space Force.
This military satellite communications system will eventually become a key element of the US Space Force's strategy.
The ESS development contract is worth 298 million dollars. Other contracts for the complete ESS system are expected to be awarded in 2025.
