Boeing: American orders Dreamliners worth 12 billion dollars
(CercleFinance.com) - American Airlines will more than double its 787 Dreamliner fleet with a new order of 47 aircraft, plus 28 options, in a deal worth over 12 billion dollars, excluding options.
American Airlines - which will use the planes to open new routes to Asia-Pacific and Europe - said the additional Dreamliners are intended to modernize its fleet.
The 787-8 Dreamliner can fly between 242 and 290 passengers up to 13,620 km in a two-class configuration.
