Boeing: delivers first 737 MAX 8 to TUI Group
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing contractually delivered its first 737 MAX 8 to TUI Group on Tuesday, with the German tourism giant still having additional orders for the single-aisle aircraft.
The airplane is considered as both cleaner, quieter and more efficient, offering 14% lower carbon emissions, cutting noise by 40%.
TUI - which operates six airlines - has 51 additional orders of the 737 MAX 8 and four 787 Dreamliners. The group also has 18 unfilled orders for the 737 MAX 10.
