Boeing: series of contracts at Dubai airshow.

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing said that airline giant Emirates has committed itself to buying forty 787-10 Dreamliners at the 2017 Dubai airshow, in a deal worth 15.
1 billion dollars at current list prices, including related equipment.

Also at the Dubai airshow, Boeing said Kuwait's Alafaco has finalized an order for twenty additional 737 MAX 8s, doubling the lessor's order book for the airplane, in a deal worth 2.2 billion dollars.

Simultaneously, Azerbaijan Airlines placed an order for five more 787-8 Dreamliners and has committed itself to purchasing two large freighters in an agreement worth about 1.9 billion dollars.

At Dubai, Boeing said it forecasts that airlines in the Middle East will need 3,350 new airplanes over the next 20 years, estimating the market at around 730 billion dollars.
