Blackrock: outperforms consensus in Q3.
(CercleFinance.com) - Unveiled before Wall Street opened on Wednesday, BlackRock's third quarter accounts revealed a net income of 969 million dollars, against 854 million dollars a year earlier.
The asset manager's EPS came in at 5.92 dollars as adjusted, 35 cents more than forecast by analysts and 74 cents more than in the previous Q3.
Meanwhile, operating profit rose by 15% to almost 1.4 billion dollars.
Finally, sales increased by 14% y-o-y to 3.23 billion dollars. This also came in above the consensus of 3.07 billion dollars.
