Avnet: share buybacks and dividend hike
(CercleFinance.com) - Technology Solution Provider Avnet announces that its Board of Directors has increased its share buyback authorization by 500 million dollars, bringing the total available envelope to 675 million dollars.
In addition, the board has decided to increase its quarterly dividend per share by 5% to 21 cents, to be paid on 25 September to shareholders registered on 11 September.
As a reminder, on 8 August the Phoenix-based group posted adjusted EPS of 91 cents for its fourth quarter of 2018-19, for revenue that is down 7.5% at 4.7 billion dollars.
