Apple: unveils two new connected watches
(CercleFinance.com) - At its September Keynote event yesterday, Apple presented new models of connected watches, called Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE.
The Watch Series 6 is, quite logically, a (timid) evolution of the Series 5, and differs from its big sister by its ability to measure the oxygen level in the wearer's blood, thanks to an infrared sensor. A new chip, the Apple S6, powers the whole thing. Apple says that it is 20% faster than the Series 5.
The Watch SE is Apple's real novelty in terms of connected watches, as it is an entry-level model. It uses a large part of the Series 5 configuration, with an improved display, without the health features of the Series 6, and is also less expensive, with a starting price of 299 euros.
