Apple: to be the clear 5G winner, Wedbush says
(CercleFinance.com) - Apple will be the "clear winner" of the "5G super cycle" to surface in 2020, Wedbush Securities analysts predicted on Monday.
The brokerage firm said there is clear momentum for the "FAANG" in general heading into 2020 as a number of transformational trends such as cloud, autonomous, and the streaming content wars will be at the center of investors' attention.
Next year could see Apple, but also Google and Amazon, expand further into healthcare and banking verticals via organic growth as well as through acquisitions to broaden their monetization engines and consumer footprint, Wedbush said.
Seeing Apple as its "top 5G name", the brokerage firm maintained its 'outperform' rating on the share, with a target share price of 350 dollars.
