Apple: could launch iphone at E500 in 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - According to the 9to5Mac specialist site, in spring 2020 Apple group may launch a new "low cost" smartphone, replacing the aging iPhone SE.
The quotes around "low cost" are needed because this product - which has not yet been confirmed by Apple - is expected to cost around 500 euros. It should have the same power as the iPhone 11, embedded in the chassis of the iPhone 8. It would have a 4.7-inch screen and a home button with a fingerprint sensor. This iPhone SE 2 would thus skip Face ID and have only one photo sensor.
Apple traditionally holds its spring keynote in March. Those who have been hoping for a new compact and affordable iPhone model since 2016 will therefore still have to wait a few nore months...
