Apple: could give new purpose to logo on iPhone
(CercleFinance.com) - According to a patent filed by Apple and spotted by AppleInsider, the Apple brand could consider using the logo on the back of its smartphones to signal a new notification.
In practical terms, the logo could then change color and/or brightness when sms or calls arrive, for example. Users could decide for themselves, via iOS, the color applied to each type of notification. Depending on the patent identified, this system could also be applied to iPads and Macbooks.
Remember, however, that patent filing, whether by Apple or any other company, does not automatically mean application on a product line.
