Apple: launches new repair program for iPhones
(CercleFinance.com) - Apple announced on Thursday a new repair program to offer customers additional options for out-of-warranty iPhone repairs, the most common type of repairs.
More specifically, the US tech giant will make it easier for independent providers across the US to tap into the same resources as its authorized service provider network.
This means that Apple will provide more independent repair businesses with the same genuine parts, tools, training, repair manuals and diagnostics as its 5,000 Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASPs).
The program is now being launched in the US, with plans to expand to other countries later.
The move comes as Apple recently expanded its authorized service network into every Best Buy store in the US, tripling
