Apple: launches renewable energy fund in China
(CercleFinance.com) - As part of its commitments to combat climate change, on Thursday Apple announced the launch of an investment fund in China, which is intended to connect local suppliers to sources of renewable energy.
For example, APple and ten initial suppliers will jointly invest nearly 300 million dollars over the next four years in the “China Clean Energy” Fund.
The fund will invest in and develop clean energy projects totaling over one gigawatt of renewable energy in China, the equivalent of supplying nearly one million households.
