American Express: more ambitions for 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - Published overnight, American Express' Q1 2018 results revealed a net profit of 1.

Analysts were less confident, on average expecting in EPS of "just" 1.71 dollar.
Revenues grew by 12% y-o-y to 9.46 billion dollars, in line with market expectations.
On the strength of this solid overall performance, the group has raised its earnings growth estimate for the current year from 7% to 8%, with EPS now expected to be between 6.9 dollars and 7.3 dollars.
