Amazon: to lay off another 9,000
(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon is to make a further 9,000 redundabcies, on top of the 18,000 already announced at the start of the year, the company's chief executive Andy Jassy said on Monday.
In a message sent today to the employees of the Internet giant, the boss of the company specifies that these job cuts will occur in the coming weeks in the divisions AWS (cloud), human resources (PXT), advertising teams and the platform for broadcasting live video games Twitch.
