Amazon: e-fuel agreement with Infinium
(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon says it has signed an agreement with renewable fuels technology company Infinium to power its transport fleet with ultra-low-carbon e-fuels as from 2023 - these are alternative fuels made using electricity from "green" sources.
Infinium should be able to supply Amazon with enough e-fuels to enable its trucks to travel
8 million kilometres a year, replacing traditional diesel over this distance.
The agreement is a "step forward" for Amazon, which is committed to delivering in a more sustainable way.
