Amazon.com: signs Choice Hotels as cloud customer

com said US lodging franchisor Choice Hotels had signed up for its Amazon Web Services (AWS), in another contract win for the Seattle based company's cloud unit.
Under the terms of the deal, Choice Hotels - which operates over 6,900 hotels and develops some of its own technology - will migrate over 1,000 applications to AWS.
Since 2014, AWS was already home to some of Choice Hotels' primary business applications, including its global reservation system and distribution platform, as well as data analytics platform.
