Amazon: to set up new HQ in New York and Virginia
(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon group announced on Tuesday that it has selected New York and Arlington (Virginia) for its new headquarters, representing a 5 billion dollar investment, while creating some 50,000 jobs.
This new headquarters, "split" between two geographically distinct sites, will enhance the group's historic headquarters in Seattle.
The New York site will face Manhattan along East River. That of Arlington will be found just a few kilometres from the Washington DC centre. Initial recruitments for both these locations will begin in 2019.
