Amazon: to create fulfillment center in Tucson

com announced that it plans to open a distribution center in Tucson, Arizona, creating over 1,500 full-time jobs that will add to the group's current workforce of over 7,000 in this State.
Employees of this new 80,000 m2 site will pick, pack and ship small items such as books, electronic devices, household items and toys to customers.
Established in this State for over 10 years now, the US ecommerce giant has invested billions of dollars and says that between 2011 and 2016 it has contributed an additional 900 million dollars to the economy of Arizona.
