Amazon: opens new logistics center in Nevada

com plans to open its fourth facility in Nevada to support customer fulfilment, creating over 1,000 full-time jobs, the online retailer said on Wednesday.
The e-commerce giant currently employs more than 3,000 full-time associates at its three existing Nevada facilities in North Las Vegas and Reno.
Separately, Amazon Web Services, its cloud unit, has signed up two new clients: Cox Automotive, which owns automobile marketplaces, will move its infrastructure to AWS, as well as an online photography and cards company, Shutterfly.
