(CercleFinance.com) - Norton antivirus software maker Symantec has chosen Amazon's cloud unit Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a strategic infrastructure provider, the e-commerce giant said on Wednesday.
The cyber security provider plans to host the vast majority of its cloud workloads at AWS, leveraging Amazon's infrastructure to deliver service to its customer base, the company said.
Amazon also said yesterday that it has launched Amazon ML Solutions Lab, a new program that will connect technology experts with AWS clients to help identify practical uses of machine learning within clients' businesses.
Johnson & Johnson, Washington Post, and World Bank Group are the first clients to join the program.
