com said on Wednesday that it plans to open a new fulfillment center in Florida, which the e-commerce giant considers as a "bright spot for operations."
The fulfillment center, which will have a surface area of over 800,000 square feet, and which will be located in Miami, will create over 1,000 full-time jobs, who will work in a highly technological and automated environment, the company said.
Amazon has created more than 4,000 full-time jobs in Florida since first entering the State in 2013. The group's new centers will bring its workforce in the State to over 7,500.
