Alphabet: Google buys CloudSimple
(CercleFinance.com) - Alphabet's Google said it has acquired CloudSimple, a provider of secure and high-performance environments to run VMware workloads in the cloud.
In a statement, Google said it wants to help the many businesses using VMware to run applications, such as ERP and CRM, or databases, such as Oracle, to migrate workloads to the cloud.
Earlier this year, Google announced a partnership with CloudSimple.
The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
