Alphabet: Google to present two new 'pixel' tomorrow
(CercleFinance.com) - Tomorrow, Google, a subsidiary of the Alphabet group, will present two new "Pixel" smartphones on the occasion of “Made By Google,” its traditional autumn event - the equivalent to Apple's "keynotes" in September.
These have been largely leaked on the net: a pre-production model had even been forgotten in a taxi this summer, and the trade press has already got their hands on the devices' data sheets. Unless there is a surprise, everything is hence already known about the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
The Pixel 3 XL will have a 6.2-inch edge-to-edge screen - with a notch - and two photo sensors at the front. The Pixel 3 will have a 5.3-inch screen. Upmarket, they will both be equipped with a Snapdragon 845 chip and the latest version of Android, Android Pie.
The last (and only?) unknown factor is the availability of devices in France: Pixel 1 and 2 have never been released officially. This should nonetheless be the case this year, according to the trade press.
