AMD: Q4 EPS better than expected

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, AMD unveiled non-GAAP net income that more than quadrupled to 383 million dollars for Q4 2019, i.
e. 32 cents per share, with EPS exceeding the consensus by two cents.

The chip maker saw its adjusted gross margin improve by four points to 45% for revenues that are up 50% at 2.13 billion dollars, mainly bolstered by its IT and graphics segment.

Thus, the Santa Clara group reported adjusted FY 2019 EPS of 64 cents. For 2020, it targets revenue growth of around 28%-30%, driven by the strength of all its businesses, as well as an adjusted gross margin of around 45%.
