Activision Blizzard: quarterly EPS above expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening, Activision Blizzard reported Q2 adjusted EPS (non-GAAP) that exceeded its target - presented in May - by 18 cents, twice the market consensus.
The video game publisher, whose games include "Call of Duty" and "World of Warcraft" announced an adjusted operating margin of 32%, with revenues down 15% at 1.4 billion dollars, including 1.09 billion dollars from digital channels.
For FY 2019, Activision Blizzard targets adjusted EPS of 2.02 dollars and revenues of 6,190 million dollars, compared to respective forecasts of 1.85 dollar and 6,025 million dollars three months ago.
