Abercrombie & Fitch: above expectations in Q2.
(CercleFinance.com) - Used to announcing disappointing results, Abercrombie & Fitch seems to have broken this "rule" on Thursday.
The ready-to-wear group slightly increased its annual loss per share in the second quarter, which rose from 19 cents to 23 cents.
On an adjusted basis, the loss reached 16 cents, less than half what analysts were expecting.
Revenues also exceeded expectations; even though they fell 3.9 million dollars y-o-y to 779.3 million dollars. The consensus was expecting a sharper fall to 759 million dollars.
