AbbVie: quarterly EPS just tops estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - AbbVie has reported Q4 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 16.
3% at 2.21 dollars in the fourth quarter of 2019, beating the consensus by two cents, for revenues of 8.7 billion dollar, up 4.8% (+5.3% excluding FX factors).
"Excluding the unfavorable impact of international HUMIRA net revenues due to biosimilar competition, fourth-quarter net revenues grew 11.0 percent operationally," the pharmaceutical group said.
AbbVie's FY adjusted EPS increased 13% to 8.94 dollars, exceeding its target range of 8.90-8.92 dollars, as set three months ago, with the group saying its expects 2020 EPS of 9.61-9.71 dollars.
