' "Aquaman" has stormed the US box office on its opening weekend, according to numbers released by audience company Comscore on Monday.
The super hero movie took 67.4 million dollars on the domestic market over the Christmas weekend, and also crossed the 400 million dollar threshold internationally.
The film easily beat Disney's "Mary Poppins Returns," which took 22.2 million dollars on the domestic market over the weekend.
