AT&T: finalises acquisition of AlienVault
(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T has said that it has finalised the acquisition of AlienVault, an unlisted company that is based in San Mateo (California), which will enable it to extend its portfolio and offers of business-class security solutions to millions of SMEs.
The American telecommunications giant, which announced this transaction last month, did not at the time specify the financial terms of the deal, although indicated that it should not have a significant impact on its results.
Barmak Meftah, who is CEO of the acquired company, will head AT&T's cyber security division, and will be placed under the authority of Thaddeus Arroyo, head of AT&T Business.
