AT&T: takes over AppNexus
(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T today announces a definitive agreement for the acquisition of AppNexus, a global advertising platform provider of digital advertising business products for publishers, advertising agencies and marketing specialists.
The telecommunications group underlines that the acquired company - for an unspecified amount - has an experienced management team and an employee base of over 400 software engineers and product managers.
AppNexus will integrate AT&T's advertising and analytics division, led by Brian Lesser. It will continue to be operated independently until the completion of its acquisition, which is expected in the third quarter - subject to customary conditions.
