On an adjusted basis, the earnings per share (EPS) of the American telecoms operator came to 79 cents, or 6 cents more than anticipated by analysts.
Revenue is reported as 39.8 billion dollars, which although this represents a 700-million fall, it is in line with consensus.
The “mobile” division on its part reports close to 2.8 million net additional customers of which 2.3 million in the US and 476,000 in Mexico.
