SAS: passenger numbers up 2.8% in January
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday SAS announced passenger traffic figures were up 2.
8% y-o-y in January, along with a load fqctor thqt is up 0.8 point at 65.7%, with these numbers largetly benefiting from travel to Scandinavia and the rest of Europe.
In a statement, the airline said that it transported 1.9 million passengers last month, representing a rise of 3.2%.
For the record, the Scandinavian carrier has decided to suspend flights to and from Shanghai and Beijing until 29 February, due to the coronavirus epidemic.
