SAS: record passenger numbers in June

(CercleFinance.com) - Scandinavian airline SAS on Friday reported a 0.
3% rise in traffic in June, to a new record number of nearly 3 million passengers traveling in a single month.

SAS - which is owned by the governments of Sweden, Denmark and Norway - said its passenger load factor, a measure of how it fills its planes, fell to 82.6% from 83% a year ago.

The carrier said currency-adjusted unit revenue continued to rise, up 4.8% over the past month.

The SAS share is currently up 0.4% in Stockholm.
