Alfa Laval: wins maintenance agreement with Aker BP
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish engineering firm Alfa Laval said on Thursday that it has signed an offshore maintenance agreement with Norwegian oil group Aker BP.
The maker of heat transfer and fluid handling systems said the contract covers seawater lift pumps to be used for offshore platforms in the North Sea.
The deal's terms were not disclosed, although Alfa Laval said the agreement has been signed for six years, with an option to extend it by an additional six years.
