Alfa Laval: two agreements with ship owners.
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish engineering group Alfa Laval has, over the last week, signed two framework agreements with ship owners to deliver its systems for ballast water treatment.
The agreements represent a total value of approximately 200 million Swedish kronor (about 20.5 million euros), with deliveries scheduled to take place over a 3-year period from late 2017.
Since last September, newly built vessels must have a ballast water treatment system installed, while existing vessels need to install a ballast water treatment system.
