Ericsson: to upgrade Pine Cellular's network
(CercleFinance.com) - Oklahoma-based Pine Cellular has selected Ericsson to ensure the future of its network.
The telecommunications company serving southeastern Oklahoma has selected Ericsson to upgrade its existing equipment to 5G-ready products and solutions.
With this upgrade, Pine Cellular will be able to offer enhanced mobility and broadband services to its subscribers.
Under the agreement, Ericsson will upgrade the existing core, radio access network, microwave and router equipment at more than 140 sites in Pine Cellular's network.
Investors seem to have hung up though - the share is currently down 1.5%, even underperforming a slightly negative market in Stockholm.
