Ericsson: signs $2bn credit facility

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson has announced that it has signed a 2 billion dollar sustainability revolving credit facility with a group of 18 leading global and regional banks.

Ericsson is renewing a credit facility that was provided to Ericsson in 2013 and which had not been drawn down.

The interest rate of the credit will be linked to two performance indicators - namely, Ericsson's carbon neutrality in its own operations by 2030, and suppliers' commitment to align with climate targets limiting warming to 1.5°C.

The credit facility will be valid for five years, with two one-year extension options, and will serve as a facility for general corporate purposes, Ericsson said.

Little reaction from investors though, with the share flat as noon approaches.
