Ericsson: chosen by Finland's Elisa for its 5G
(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson announced on Tuesday that it has been selected by the Finnish telecommunications operator Elisa to deploy its 5G network.
The Swedish equipment manufacturer said in a statement that it has won a contract to deploy Elisa's 5G Core and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies.
The financial terms of the contract have not been specified, although the agreement includes an extension clause, Ericsson says.
