Ericsson: signs network alliance with VMware
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson has signed a global alliance agreement with US business software company VMware to simplify network virtualization for service providers.
The five-year alliance agreement will be based on a combination of Ericsson applications and VMware's cloud platform, the companies said on Thursday.
The alliance builds on the cooperation deal that both companies sealed in 2012.
