Ericsson: expands network coverage for Movistar Argentina
(CercleFinance.com) - Movistar Argentina has selected Ericsson to transform its network over a three-year period and to start its move towards 5G and IoT, the Swedish group said on Thursday.
The scope covers improvements to radio access network capacity and expanded network coverage, as well as a migration to Ericsson's network manager, the group said.
The modernisation is set to begin this year, with a partial network upgrade to be completed in 2021, Ericsson said.
